The first day of Kevin Durant's weekend stay in The Hamptons came and went without substantial news. But there was still mild action.
Durant's first scheduled meeting may have been his scariest, from the Thunder's perspective. It was with the Warriors, the team that eliminated OKC in the West Finals last month and is thought by many to be the biggest threat to steal away the face of OKC's franchise early this month.
Durant met for more than three hours with a Golden State contingent that included owner Joe Lacob, coach Steve Kerr and four core Warriors players: Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala.
