Russell Westbrook won't start at the All-Star Game.
He's not about to start worrying about it.
The Thunder guard — a leading MVP candidate who's averaging a triple-double deeper into a season than anyone since Oscar Robertson did it for a full one in 1961-62 — wasn't voted among the Western Conference starters, announced Thursday.
After Friday's practice, Westbrook took a pragmatic approach to the fan vote that kept him out of the starting lineup, saying, “It is what it is.”
“I don't play to play in the All-Star (Game),” Westbrook said.
