For the second time this season, Russell Westbrook is in the technical-foul danger zone.
Westbrook's technical fouls at Phoenix on Friday and at Dallas on Sunday raised the Thunder guard's season total to 14. Two more would mean a one-game suspension, per NBA rules.
After Monday's practice, Thunder coach Billy Donovan said Westbrook is aware he's closing in on a suspension.
“I think he understands what's in front of him and what we need to do,” Donovan said after Sunday's game at Dallas. “I know the team's important to him and winning's important to him, and from his standpoint and from our standpoint, him on the floor helps our team.
