SAN ANTONIO — Thunder center Steven Adams limped around the locker room, favoring his right side. Black kinesiology tape poked out from under his left pant leg.
The left ankle injury that he was gingerly testing after the Thunder's 154-147 loss to the Spurs on Thursday was the same one he had played on for 4 minutes and 26 seconds over the course of two overtime periods.
“It's still there, so I made it work,” Adams said of his ankle.
Adams rolled his left ankle while defending LaMarcus Aldridge in the fourth quarter.
