As the Thunder left the practice facility Saturday, players in a hurry to pack and hop on a plane to Portland, Paul George’s availability for Game 1 at Portland remained up in the air.
“Still day-to-day,” Thunder coach Billy Donovan said. “Nothing’s changed from yesterday.”
On Friday, Donovan had declined to speculate on whether George would return Sunday after being sidelined in OKC’s regular-season finale in Milwaukee by right shoulder soreness.
Both Friday and Saturday were light practice days — or “mental” days as Donovan put it — more closely resembling a walk through than a full contact practice, according to Donovan.
