Paul George sat in front of his locker after the Thunder’s 107-99 win over the Pacers looking cyborg-esque. His left side was covered with strips of plastic wrap and kinesiology tape. The former held ice bags on his shoulder and quad. The latter snaked down his shin and onto his foot.
It was the uniform of a man who had just surpassed 2,000 points in a season for the first time in his career.
“You see me iced up?” George said when he eventually rose to address the media. “It’s been a grind to get to 2,000, I guess.
