WASHINGTON — Monday was a homecoming for Victor Oladipo and Jerami Grant.
It wasn't exactly the return the two were looking for against the Wizards, as the Thunder was pummeled 120-98 at the Verizon Center.
The two former high school teammates were playing in D.C. for the first time since being traded to Oklahoma City. Oladipo, 24, and Grant, 22, each played at DeMatha High School in nearby Hyattsville, Md.
Foul trouble kept Oladipo from having the affect he would have liked in front of friends and family. To start the third quarter, Oladipo tried his mightiest, but he was late closing out Washington's best 3-point shooter, Otto Porter.
