Thunder journal: More than instant offense from Morrow, Kanter

NEW YORK — The lob went over the top past Anthony Morrow, and it was too late. Two easy points for the Knicks in transition on a three-quarters-court lob.

Morrow made up for it, swishing a 3-pointer on the next possession as the crowd at Madison Square Garden groaned.

"It just so happened I got backdoored when I first got in the game," Morrow joked. "It's about grinding through those things, and just being aggressive still."

Much-maligned for their defense, the combination of Morrow and Enes Kanter did their part on both ends to keep the Thunder in the game in the first half of a 112-103 win over the Knicks on Monday.
