made a name for himself at Illinois.
But that name wasn't called in Thursday's NBA Draft. So the big-time Big Ten scorer will try to work his way into the NBA, and the job starts in Oklahoma City.
Hill, a 6-foot-6 guard who played four years for the Illini, will play for the Thunder's Summer League team, he said Friday, and he plans to be in OKC “within a couple days.”
Hill hasn't committed to a training camp with any team, so he plans to use the Summer League to showcase his skills for the Thunder and the league's other 29 teams, all of whom will scout undrafted free agents in July.
