When the Thunder's needed to get its offense on track this season, it's often looked to Steven Adams.
In Brooklyn, before Paul George exploded for 25 fourth-quarter points, Adams was a steady hand in a stabilizing third quarter, the Thunder chipping away at a double-digit deficit out of halftime through the 7-footer.
In the beginning of the Thunder's 116-98 loss to Washington on Sunday, it looked as if Adams was going to be leaned on heavily against second-year center Thomas Bryant. Adams scored 10 points on four shots in the first quarter, but received just two more shots the rest of the game.
