Thunder journal: Anthony Morrow makes the most of extended minutes against Pistons

At the 3:20 mark of the third quarter Saturday against Detroit, Russell Westbrook logged his 44th career regular-season triple-double, tying Cleveland's LeBron James for the most by an active player.

In the Thunder's 106-88 win, Westbrook finished with 17 points, 13 rebounds and 15 assists for his league-leading seventh triple-double, his fourth in six games.

And the milestone came in a quarter in which Westbrook was fighting for foul calls.

Two drives by Westbrook came with hard contact from Pistons guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Westbrook lobbied with the officials, the second time drawing a technical foul, his fourth of the season.
