Abdel Nader remembers Oklahoma City well from his Big 12 days playing for Iowa State. He'll have the opportunity to create new memories as one representation of the Thunder's continued roster retooling.
At the Timbers Skilled Nursing Center and Therapy Center in Edmond on Wednesday, Nader and former Iowa State teammate, now-Thunder two-way player, Deonte Burton posed for pictures with residents and staff. In six days, Thunder training camp will open, and the two will be pieces of the reshaped group of young wings on the 14-man roster.
It's a chance Nader, 24, is relishing after appearing in just 48 games for Boston as a rookie last season.
