SALT LAKE CITY — The Thunder trailed by 11 deep into the third quarter and Paul George tried to hit a 10-point shot.
With Utah's orange, red and yellow crowd rocking, George rocked back into a crossover dribble and settled into a jump shot which ignited the Jazz fast break. The Jazz didn't score, but they had multiple opportunities, as they chased down an offensive rebound to free up Ricky Rubio for a 3-point heave at the buzzer which shook the Vivint Smart Home Arena and the Thunder at its core.
In a 115-102 loss to the Jazz in Game 3 of the Western Conference first round on Sunday, the Thunder went away from what was working and it was detrimental to its chances at stealing the first road game in Salt Lake City.
