The Thunder is continuing its work to bring new basketball courts to Oklahoma communities.
The organization announced Friday that its Thunder Cares Foundation will soon break ground on a basketball court at Crystal Beach Park in Woodward. It will be the 14th court built or refurbished by the foundation in the state.
The Thunder did not specify a date for the court's completion, but said it should be unveiled this fall. The court will be the third Thunder Cares Foundation court built on a new site.
Previous court sites include parks, schools and recreational centers in Tulsa, Altus, Norman, Bethel Acres, El Reno, Moore and Oklahoma City.
