The Thunder wasn’t alone in claiming a winning record Sunday.
OKC coach Billy Donovan won a momentum-swinging coach’s challenge in the fourth quarter of the Thunder’ 118-112 upset of the Clippers. OKC (15-14) improved to a win above .500 for the first time this season, and Donovan's challenge record jumped to 5-4.
“I probably have challenged more that I felt were a little bit better than 50/50,” Donovan said after practice Monday. “Sometimes you make those challenges, and you’re hoping. I just felt like we had a pretty good case on some of those.”
It’s a small sample size, but Donovan is faring better than average.
