The Thunder’s 125-88 rout of the Grizzlies on Tuesday night was highly encouraging. One game does not a trend, much less a season, make. But that was as impressive a victory as the Thunder has had in years, coming in the Grindhouse of Memphis, against a proud franchise that has played 40 — forty! — games against the Thunder in the last five years. Most of them battle royales.
And here’s what I liked about the game. The Thunder dominated Memphis in two different ways.
* OKC went with a small lineup in the second quarter which spurted the Thunder away from the Grizzlies.
