Players typically pop over to the INTEGRIS Thunder Development Center at all hours of the day and night, but Wednesday’s formal practice was a rare night session for the full team as it got back to work after the All-Star Break.
In a change-up from years past, the NBA extended the All-Star Break to a full week, meaning that Thunder players (aside from Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook) had from last Friday until this Thursday without a game. For Durant and Westbrook, who have a combined 12 All-Star appearances, the extra two days was welcome considering they usually hardly have much of a break at all in between their duties at All-Star Weekend and the Thunder’s practice schedule.
