NEW ORLEANS – The Thunder’s reserves racked up 52 points, played more total minutes than the starters and made the most crucial run of the game, an 18-5 burst to begin the fourth quarter. During the grind of an NBA season, what the Thunder bench provided in a 121-110 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans is not just appreciated, but an excellent sign of the balance and depth of this Thunder team.
Head Coach Billy Donovan’s club was in a tight contest for most of the first three quarters, never able to break the lead open further than nine points on the Pelicans.
