Thunder at Indiana Pacers Game Recap – March 19, 2016

INDIANAPOLIS – Throughout the third quarter, the Indiana Pacers gradually chipped away at the Thunder’s 13-point lead, and with 9:33 to go in the fourth quarter, they took a 96-92 lead. With that kind of game pressure, Head Coach Billy Donovan’s club could have folded, and on the second night of a back-to-back to end a three-game road trip, many teams might have done the same.

What resulted instead was an 18-4 run that defined the fourth quarter, outside of a scare in the final two minutes, and a 115-111 Thunder win. Randy Foye started the run by knocking down two free throws, then after forcing a long Paul George miss, Kevin Durant dribbled into one of his patented transition three-pointers, helping the Thunder regain the lead.
