Thunder agrees to two-year deal with free agent center Nerlens Noel

The Thunder agreed to a two-year deal with free agent center Nerlens Noel, The Oklahoman confirmed on Monday.

Noel, 24, was the sixth overall pick by Philadelphia out of Kentucky in the 2013 NBA Draft, but fell out of favor in both Philadelphia and Dallas before landing in Oklahoma City. The 6-foot-11, 228-pounder played just 30 games for the Mavericks last season.

Noel agreeing to a deal with the Thunder was first reported by Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports, who reported that Billy Donovan met with Noel and Russell Westbrook and Paul George were both involved in his recruitment.
