Thudner journal: With Markieff Morris out, Deonte Burton takes his place

Thunder forward Deonte Burton twisted as he hovered in the air, dropping the ball into the hoop on his way down.

The Thunder would go on to beat the Nets 108-96 Wednesday, but two minutes into the fourth quarter, that layup by Burton gave the Thunder a one-point lead. Two possessions later he got to the rim again to expand the lead to three.

Thunder forward Markieff Morris (neck soreness) was listed as questionable leading into the game, and about an hour and a half before tip-off, Thunder coach Billy Donovan said he was waiting on an update before saying whether he would play or not.
