The rebounding issues continue as the OKC Thunder drop its second consecutive home game, losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves 119-117.
Coming off the back of a lackluster loss to Washington two nights earlier, the Thunder’s effort in the first half on defense was a lot to be desired. Poor rotations, lazy defensive effort and soft defense on the perimeter allowed the Wolves to build a 10-point lead before the Thunder used a 24-14 surge to go into the locker rooms at 64-apiece.
The opening six minutes of the second half was much like the first with both teams exchanging buckets before a freak Nerlens Noel accident changed the tone of the game.
