The Real MVP: a Lifetime movie on Kevin Durant’s mom

Related Topics: Lifetime (TV network)

Kevin Durant‘s emotional speech, in which he declared his mother, Wanda Pratt, the real MVP, made things awfully dusty in living rooms everywhere. Durant’s speech was more than just the usual acceptance speech, as he genuinely thanked his teammates, those who have helped him get where he is and Pratt, whose dedication clearly rubbed off on Durant to help him become the player he is today.

Unlike the 2012 hit Thunderstruck, this movie won’t feature Durant, nor will it feature Pratt, but it will star Cassandra Freeman, who was impressed by Durant’s speech. Durant is played by Nic Few.
