The NBA season is over and the Finals were spectacular fun.
Oh, not for the Warriors. Not for Kevin Durant or Klay Thompson. Not for Steph Curry, who was run ragged without half his Hampton buddies. Not for the tri-county area around San Francisco Bay, the only pocket of North America hoping to keep the O’Brien Trophy out of Canada.

Dig down, and the NBA Finals were great theater for one fundamental reason.
