Terrance Ferguson signs Thunder contract

made it official on Saturday, signing his rookie-scale contract with the Thunder.

The 19-year-old rookie, who was born in Tulsa, played his high school basketball in Dallas and skipped college, playing last season for the Adelaide 36ers in Australia’s National Basketball League, was the 21st pick in last month’s NBA Draft.

On Saturday, Ferguson became the last of the first-round picks to sign a contract. His signing was held up at least in part by delayed clearance from FIBA, a required step for a player coming to the NBA from a foreign pro league.
