The sparse crowd gave Terrance Ferguson one of its louder ovations Wednesday, as he stepped onto the court.
In the Thunder’s 109-103 win over the Cavaliers, Ferguson made his first appearance in almost three weeks. Ferguson missed eight games due to personal reasons. For the first time this season, he came off the bench.
Thunder rookie Luguentz Dort, who had started in Ferguson’s place for seven of the eight games he missed, remained the starter. OKC coach Billy Donovan said this week that he’d talk with Ferguson as a part of his decision-making process.
“Lu Dort’s done a nice job,” Donovan said after practice Monday.
