If it seems like Steven Adams is dunking a lot, you’re right. Adams had four more dunks Tuesday night in the Thunder’s 110-91 rout of Milwaukee, and Adams now leads the NBA in dunks per game, 2.9. Houston’s Clint Capela actually has more dunks, 21-20, but has played eight games and is averaging 2.6.
Adams averaged 1.4 dunks per game last season and 1.3 the year before. But the space in the lane has opened this season like it did two years ago, with Adams and Russell Westbrook having a much greater chemistry now that they are long-time teammates.
