Monday night’s game was upsetting. Sure, the OKC Thunder won, but the effort we saw during the first quarter left a bad taste through the rest of the game. Admittedly, most of my frustrations were geared at Carmelo Anthony.
Here was a 10-time All-Star who said this team was going to come out different after the All-Star Break. A 33-year old who hadn’t sniffed Playoff success in years. Somebody who bragged about how refreshed he was from the week off. Yet here I was, watching the same Melo take the same 20-foot jumper while playing the same non-existent defense.
