Gilgeous-Alexander was the Thunder’s prize return in the Paul George trade, but the other former Clipper in the deal, Danilo Gallinari, also shined against the Timberwolves.
Gallinari scored a season-high 30 points on 8-of-12 shooting. He shot 3-of-4 from 3-point range, and was 11-of-12 from the free throw line.
The Thunder drained the life out of the Timberwolves by making 23-of-26 free throws.
OKC shot 51% from the floor and 40% from 3-point range against the Timberwolves, who were playing their 14th consecutive game without star center Karl-Anthony Towns.
Gilgeous-Alexander, Gallinari, Schroder, Ferguson, Chris Paul, Steven Adams and Mike Muscala all scored at least 10 points for the Thunder.
