The Oklahoma City Thunder have been dominant all season, so it's only fitting they advanced to the 2024 NBA Cup semifinals.
OKC defeated the Dallas Mavericks 118-104 in Tuesday's quarterfinals showdown at Paycom Center and improved to 19-5 in the process. The Mavericks had no answer for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who looked the part of potential league MVP with 39 points, eight rebounds, five assists and three steals.
Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder will face the winner of Wednesday's game between the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors in the semifinals in Las Vegas.
The battle between SGA and Luka Donu010diu0107 was the game within the game, and the Mavericks star couldn't keep up from a scoring perspective with 16 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and four steals on 5-of-15 shooting from the field.
