For two straight games in San Antonio, I’ve walked the concourse immediately after the game, and it’s a surrealistic feeling. Hundreds of stunned Spurs fans, milling toward the exits, with the only sounds coming from an occasional gloating Thunder fan.
Not the day the Earth stood still, but eerie. At least for those in San Antonio black.
The quick trip to San Antonio for Game 5 ended in a rousing 95-91 victory for the Thunder, which now controls this Western Conference semifinal series. It’s possible we’ll be back for Game 7; the road team has won three of the five games in this series.
