Last week, Cameron Payne said he was back. Thunder general manager Sam Presti said it's true.
At Presti's first media availability of the season Wednesday, he said Payne is unrestricted and should be able to participate in camp, which starts on Saturday. Payne underwent Jones fracture surgery on his right foot July 25.
Presti said the second-year guard has been participating in 5-on-5 games, and should be able to participate in as much as the Thunder's training staff sees fit.
"He's going to be a little rusty because he hasn't played as much basketball," Presti said.
