Russell Westbrook Wins Second-Straight All-Star MVP Award

The 2016 NBA All-Star Game was hardly a highly contested affair, with the Western Conference outscoring their East counterparts, 196-173, on their way to a victory. But it was certainly an entertaining one, with the best players in the world showcasing the amazing skills that led to their All-Star selection. Among these great players, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook showed just a little bit extra and won the game’s Most Valuable Player award.

Westbrook finished with 31 points (tops in the West), 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals, a stat line not unlike his regular-season performances, when Westbrook is perpetually near a triple-double every game.
