After 11 seasons with the OKC Thunder, one pregame image is engrained in our minds. That’s when Russell Westbrook runs to a corner of Chesapeake Arena, claps his hands and pumps up the crowd. It’s still unfathomable for me to imagine that won’t happen on October 25 when the Thunder host their first home game of the 2019-20 season.
Just over a month has passed since Westbrook was traded to the Houston Rockets but it still doesn’t feel real. Last week when the NBA regular season schedules were released the first thing I looked for was the second game the Rockets would play in OKC.
