Russell Westbrook walked on the court during an altercation in game four against the Utah Jazz on Monday. The league’s official rules call for an automatic one-game suspension for the act. However, Westbrook was given a break since he was at the scorer’s table ready to check in.
The argument began halfway through the third quarter when Raymond Felton fouled Rudy Gobert hard underneath the basket to save an easy layup. Words were exchanged between the two after Gobert got up slowly and things escalated with Westbrook getting in the mix.
It has been a frustrating series for Oklahoma City as they continue to fall behind, so it’s not surprising that tempers flared easily.
