OAKLAND, Calif. — It took some time to cool off, but Russell Westbrook's rivalry with Zaza Pachulia is on fire again.
After the Thunder's 112-80 loss to the Golden State Warriors Saturday night at Oracle Arena, Westbrook said Pachulia, the Golden State center is “for sure” a dirty player, in reference to a third-quarter play when Pachulia fell on Westbrook.
Westbrook was down on the court under the Thunder's basket on the play, which happened with 2:20 to play in the third quarter. Pachulia, standing over him, fell onto Westbrook's legs without being pushed, and Westbrook lay on the ground as the Warriors ran to the offensive end.
