Russell Westbrook (ankle) out against Rockets on Thursday

Russell Westbrook has officially been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Rockets, per the team.

Westbrook sprained his left ankle in the Thunder’s 122-116 win against the Pelicans. Westbrook traveled with the team to Cleveland on Wednesday, but did not play. Dennis Schroder filled in for Westbrook in the starting lineup with 28 points of 11-of-19 shooting in the 95-86 win.

The Thunder has not put a timetable on Westbrook's return. He'll continue to be re-evaluated daily.

The Thunder has won six consecutive games, second behind Golden State for the longest current winning streak in the NBA.
