The Thunder has traded center Justin Patton and cash considerations to the Mavericks for Isaiah Roby, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Roby, a 6-foot-8 forward who was a three-year player at Nebraska, did not appear in any games for the Mavericks. He spent time with the G League Texas Legends.
Patton saw limited time in five games for the Thunder.
ESPN's Bobby Marks notes that Roby is in his first year of a four-year contract. He has a fully guaranteed deal for this season and next season.
With the move, the Thunder will cut its luxury tax bill from $2.
