The Thunder is on the brink of having two assistant coach positions to fill this offseason.
Sam Amick of The Athletic reported Tuesday that Thunder assistant Bob Beyer is among a slew of coaches the Kings have added around new head coach Luke Walton. Beyer coached one season in Oklahoma City after serving as an assistant in Detroit under former Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy.
Longtime Thunder assistant Mark Bryant is also expected to join Phoenix’s coaching staff. As reported by The New York Times’ Marc Stein last week, Bryant is wanted by new Suns head coach Monty Williams.
