Report: Third NBA player tests positive for coronavirus

Pistons forward Christian Wood has tested positive for coronavirus, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Saturday.

Wood is the third NBA player to test positive for the virus that has caused a pandemic and prompted the NBA to suspend its season for at least 30 days. The other two players are on the Jazz.

Rudy Gobert's test for COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, came back positive just before the Jazz and Thunder were scheduled to tip off Wednesday at Chesapeake Energy Arena. Utah guard Donovan Mitchell's test came back positive after Jazz players and staff were tested for COVID-19 in the visitors locker room at the 'Peake that night.
