Andy Miller, the agent of Thunder forward Josh Huestis, reportedly relinquished his National Basketball Players Association certification, leaving Huestis’s future representation in doubt.
According to a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, a memo from the NBPA sent out Wednesday said that Miller “will no longer represent players in contract negotiations.” The Thunder declined Huestis's 2018-19 fourth-year option on Oct. 31, meaning the 6-foot-7, 230-pounder will become an unrestricted free agent July 1, 2018. Huestis is playing on the final guaranteed year of his deal for $1.47 million.
Miller, the president and founder of ASM Sports, is currently involved in the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s probe of college basketball which led to Louisville firing Rick Petrino in October.
