Report: Dayton hires Thunder assistant Anthony Grant as head coach

Thunder assistant coach Anthony Grant has been hired by the Dayton Flyers to be their head coach, according to a tweet by the university.

Reporter Jeff Goodman tweeted out the news around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning:

Dayton will hire former Flyer Anthony Grant, sources told ESPN.

Grant became a Thunder assistant under coach Billy Donovan in 2015 after being fired as the head coach at the University of Alabama. He is a Dayton alum, playing basketball there from 1983-1987.
