The Thunder coaching staff takes a hard look at each upcoming opponent, and figures out the best way to manage each game as it comes. In Saturday’s matchup with the Phoenix Suns, Head Coach Billy Donovan and company believed that starting Anthony Morrow in place of the injured Victor Oladipo and having Jerami Grant come off the bench would be the best way for the Thunder to defend Phoenix throughout the course of the game.

“We’ll figure out who we’re playing, matchups, things like that and whatever may be best,” Donovan said. “Anthony Morrow has been in a pretty good routine as it relates to coming in at about that six minute mark of that first quarter.
