Russell Westbrook wasn't just in Los Angeles to work out with his Thunder teammates.
On Thursday, Westbrook had his sixth annual Why Not? Basketball Camp at Jesse Owens Community Regional Park in Los Angeles. More than 250 campers received a full day of basketball training from Westbrook, his brother Ray Westbrook, family and other coaches.
The camp has sessions for boys and girls ages 7-10 and 11-14. Following the camp, Westbrook took photos with campers and awarded certificates and signed items.
The camp was an extension of his Why Not? camps in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, which took place in July.
