During the season, Thunder players can be spotted all over Oklahoma City touching the lives of families and children across the metro area. In between home games, the team takes advantage of every possible opportunity to give back to loyal Thunder fans. The summertime, however, is when players take their community service and philanthropy into their own hands, and on Saturday rookie Cameron Payne did precisely that.
Back home in Memphis, where he grew up and honed his basketball skills, Payne took the time to drop by Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital to brighten up the morning for some children who are going through tough times.
