LOS ANGELES – Russell Westbrook laughed and was the first one up on the sideline showing support after Paul George bowed out of the Three-Point Contest in the first round on Saturday.
Wearing the Thunder’s “City” alternate gray uniform, George made only seven 3-pointers for nine points, last among the eight competitors. The Top 3 advanced to the second round.
Phoenix’s Devin Booker won the competition over 2016 champion Klay Thompson.
“If I had made 30 tonight or missed all of them, it was still fun to be out there,” George said.
