CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Maybe what's ailing Paul George's shooting is in his foot.
The Thunder forward has been streaky all season, continuing Thursday with a 4-of-20 performance, including 0-of-10 from 3-point range, in the team's 111-107 win against Charlotte.
In postgame, George revealed he's battling Peroneal Nerve Palsy in his left foot. Peroneal Nerve Palsy can cause numbness in the foot and weakness in the ankles and feet.
George, who called it a "dead foot," said it's been nagging him since the Thunder's third preseason game against Atlanta. George averaging 23.4 points per game, but shooting just 38.
