SAN ANTONIO – Paul George sat on the scorer’s table with a smile on his face and an ice bag wrapped around his right shoulder. It was the extent of the All-Star’s work on Saturday at AT&T Center.
Thunder coach Billy Donovan announced at Saturday’s shootaround that George would not play against the Spurs. George will miss his second consecutive game with right shoulder soreness, as he didn’t play in the Thunder’s 108-104 loss to Philadelphia on Thursday.
George is day-to-day, with his status in question for Sunday’s game against Memphis back in Oklahoma City.
