Thunder forward Paul George was named the NBA's Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday, the first time he's received the award this season.
George averaged 35.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, five assists and 2.5 steals during the Thunder’s 3-1 week, including shooting splits of 51.6 percent overall (49-of-95), 47.1 percent from 3 (16-of-34) and 90 percent (27-of-30) from the free throw line.
It's the second Player of the Week award for a Thunder player this season. Russell Westbrook received the award the week of Nov. 5.
