Paul George raised his eyebrows as a reporter pointed out that he had slapped the backboard after dunks earlier in the season without receiving a technical foul.
“I got dinged tonight, right?” he said after the Thunder’s 107-100 win at Staples Center Wednesday.
Was he given an explanation for the technical he picked up in the second quarter after slapping the backboard?
“I don’t know,” he said. “I’ve never heard refs call a foul on somebody and then almost try to rub it in my face by saying, ‘Good call.’ I’ve never heard that. It was weird.
